I’m proud to have been endorsed this month by the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Minnesota State Council, Sister District, and Raise Our Grade Minnesota.

The SEIU Minnesota State Council coordinates the electoral, legislative, and outreach work of the SEIU Locals in our state, which represent approximately 59,000 service workers who provide care and support for all Minnesotans in public schools, hospitals, universities, nursing homes, office buildings, and private homes. The workers they represent do incredibly important work, and I will always fight for the wages and respect they deserve.

Sister District is a visionary national organization that is working to win power in strategic state legislatures across the U.S. so we can draw fair legislative districts in 2021 and catalyze real progressive change for the next decade. I’m proud to stand with them in this work and to properly utilize their outstanding volunteer and financial assistance.

Raise Our Grade Minnesota is an organization near and dear to my engineer’s heart – they represent a nonpartisan, nonpolitical commitment to make infrastructure funding a priority in the state legislature. I know firsthand how important it is that we keep Minnesotans safe by properly investing in the infrastructure maintenance we so desperately need, and I stand with them in their mission.
